BOOMER U
The late Kurt Vonnegut wrote, "Practicing an art, no matter how well, is a way to make your soul grow."
Boomer U students gain a strong foundation in the Visual Arts, with the opportunity to work intensively in a concentration. The 28 credit certificate program is available in Fine Arts or Design & Crafts.
Courses from Foundation, Studio, Academics and Electives are offered each quarter. These selections are determined by sequence and enrollment. (see below for course requirements)
Classes are scheduled during the day, over two 10-week quarters; Sept.10 - Nov.16 and March 10 - May 19, leaving the winter free for travel - or hibernation!
Taught by Heartwood’s outstanding faculty of nationally recognized, professional working artists, students can take a course here and there, or a full load.
